The other picture is just a silly scribble for a friend who asked me to draw his cat as a kangaroo… not idea if it looks anywhere like one but I like it enough to show :P
On another note.. Most of you probably don’t know, but I used to have a barely known and rather inactive secondary blog here on Tumblr where I posted personal art that, let’s say, wasn’t suitable for my main blog… I deleted that blog back when Tumblr changed it’s policy but it’s back now, as a little extra for my followers on Twitter. Möm-Neop, that’s easy.. if you know German pronounciation :P
Or something like [mømneːɔp] if you know the phonetic alphabet ;)
Anyway, just call me Neop and pronounce that like it was a word in your language. I’m actually just keeping the moem part for my usernames cause I’m not the only Neop out there :T
When I met @caustizer
at BronyCon last month he gave me several ideas for short comics like
this one. I would have posted my paper sketch which I did shortly after
the Con, but I thought the concept deserved to be drawn digitally ^^
He also gave me some more ideas for OC-based stories (like those Lukida comics I did), which I might draw in future ;)
I finally returned home from my US trip yesterday, which was great but I really started to miss my drawing tablet x’D
I got 3 more weeks of vacation (aka still 3 days of work each week -.-), so I hope to get some stuff done:
- Shifting Changelings, page 30
- BronyCon comic (written by :devcaustizer:)
- thoughts about a future comic project ;)
- hopefully some time to practice new art skills
- …
Anyway,
my trip was a great experience, @kamithepony and I travelled the
US east coast for the last three weeks. I got a closer look at the way
you weird people over there live and I finally feel confident enough to
speak this unpronouncable language xD
Instead of a long and boring
travel diary let me just thank everyone I could meet at BronyCon,
especially my friends @cometpegasus, @caustizer and @kamithepony who I was hanging out most with :D
