As cute as that might be I don’t really like changing any character’s species, even for just a single pic. Yeah, I did that one doggo pic, but drawing a character as any other species totally misses the point of giving them a species and race in the first place. Admit it, all you want to see is a Kirin, binding the idea to one of my characters so I’d draw it… Nah, have a random pony instead:
Well.. I always wanted to draw Top Gun themed pics and i finally got the motivation to do it… Yeah.. Ugh.. So… I based the pic on Maverick’s (youtu.be/wUZxSf_P2r0?t=55s“Because i was inverted” scene and i would say it turned out very well.

I got the basic idea for this
drawing in the sketch raffle I did last summer and although the request
didn’t win back then I kept it. About two months ago (yeah, it took that long D’: ) I sketched the pony and the gryphon and decided to add this tavern scene. I’m not sure if the main idea of a pony and a gryphon playing rock paper scissors still sticks out but I hope you like the general picture ;)
I finally did it! I finished a pic this large again and i tried to use a new technic to do my shadows etc. The whole picture took me 23hours (without breaks). It shows my OC Kami and a OC i created as i made this pic working on a AH-1 Super Cobra in MCAGCC Twentynine Palms.
(Oh, but i think i’m going to change the background in the future someday. I don’t like this photo-realistic look)
