Graeystone: There’s also Derpy’s concern of the Alicorn Sisters and Chrysalis. Dinky being hurt and/or killed in some horrible fashion by the latter. Dinky finding out her mother is technically an Eldritch Abomination. . .surprised Derpy hasn’t had an emotional/mental breakdown…YET!

Graeystone: So starts Part 2. Things will start to really pick up as the Alicorns/Chrissie begin suspect Derpy. More of Derpy’s past as a Disguised Pony will be revealed as certain characters will be unexpectedly be caught up in what is happening. All this will lead to… well, I can’t say what!

I’m optimistic that I can improve the schedule starting with the next chapter. I will start using the more rough line art style I use in some of my drawings, since that’s where I can save a lot of time while keeping a similar quality.
Also, my school will be much less demanding from now on, giving me more spare time for the comic and other drawings ;)
We will release page 35 (next chapter’s title page) in the next two weeks, together with a short summary of part 1 so you get a little reminder of what happened ;)
I expect page 36 in March, trying to get back to a 3- or 2-week schedule.

Graeystone: About Pegasus and hearing. When I was originally developing Changelings as a whole, I thought about giving them enhanced senses like hearing and sight. I didn’t do that because that was getting too close to the Stu Line for my tastes. However when I was developing this page and the dialogue the initial idea came back to me. It real nature many species of birds do have sharper sight and even hearing. I decided this could work well with Pegasus and Changeling Flyers. Now this doesn’t mean they have Superman Hearing. Their hearing while sharper than their counterparts of both species can only pick things like whispers or low sudden sounds like birds do when they feel they’re being stalked. Also Derpy doesn’t have an advantage because she is a Changeling Flyer disguised as a Pegasus. In other words her hearing and sight isn’t ‘doubled’. As matter of fact that will be the truth for Changelings Types and Pony Types. A Changeling Grounder that takes the disguise of an Earth Pony does not have their natural strength doubled and so on. Its just that what they are naturally used to is already second nature when taking the form of a pony that is the same type as them.
Neop: Sorry for the long delay for the next page (and the cliff hanger >:P). I’ll use August to travel and do vacations, so I won’t be able to draw another page. Btw, I’ll be at GalaCon next week and at BronyCon, if you see one of these badges it will be me ;)

Sorry for being so dead lately.. Which is cause I really am dead from work >.< I still have to finish some projects for uni to finish before I leave for vacation in two weeks… Which I will also use to get to BronyCon (not sure if I’ll get that chance ever again). I’ll also be at GalaCon next weekend, can’t wait to meet my friends at both cons :D

Neop: I’ll need to do a break from drawing comics for the rest of them month (exams >.<). Expect the next page some time in mid- or late July. Also, there will be another break in August :/

Graeystone: Many of you might be thinking, ‘that doesn’t look like it should be a heavy burden.’ My reply to that is, ‘take a basic container like the kind that can be bought in any store like Wal-Mart… then fill it up to the brim with hardback books and try to pick it up!

What happened before…?
- Luna watched a nightmare about a Changeling hidden among ponies
- Chrysalis noticed that a Changeling separated from the hive mind
- Turns out it’s Derpy.. but they don’t know yet
- Chrysalis tried to contact the Changeling, but a brain damage made Derpy lose her connection to the hive mind
- Derpy notices.. and knows she has to protect her daughter Dinky
- Don’t forget about that magic apprentice link between Luna, Derpy.. and Chrysalis?
But for now Derpy is doing her book duty ;)
