One year of Shifting Changelings…
Graeystone: Hello and thanks to everyone(pony) that has enjoyed and supported us on
this venture. Its really great to have such wonderful support and people
who love the comic. I’m glad we have such a large group of readers. I’d
also like to thank the people at Equestria Daily who declared the comic
worthy of being mentioned regularly at their website when a new page is
released.
Also thanks to the various translators who translated the
comic into various languages for others to enjoy. I would say the
translators have helped to really put the comic on the Internet Map.
Special thanks to Lauren Faust and Hasbro who lets the Fandom have the freedom to produce the fanstuff they do.
Great thanks for moemneop who agreed to do just about all of the ‘heavy
lifting’ for the comic. Without moemneop, this comic just wouldn’t have
happened or would have been in poor quality. .and no I didn’t have to
blackmail or use extortion to get him to do all of the stuff he does.
Give him a round of applause/points everyone(pony). He deserves it.

I’m
aware that we only have 14 pages up to this day while other comics come
up with a hundred pages in the same time… I’m always trying to
improve both quality and the amount of time I need to finish a page.
Page 14 took me about a week to finish, but I hope you understand that
'reallife’ often interferes -.-
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story so far and will also enjoy the rest of it.
Finally made myself some kind of con badge for Galacon next week (I hope they still have this kind of entry card so I can put it on the back side..) ^^
I think about printing it again, cause the background colors are.. actually exactly right… but, well, they stick out too much for my taste.. -.- (uh, what is this thing for exactly? Right, showing my art style is all I want xD). Anyway, I started thinking this was a stupid idea, at least I have a good drawing of Lukida now…
*excitement increases*
I finally finished my next pony Changeling figurine of N7 Rainbow Dash’s Changeling-Hybrid Clyde… Too bad I have to give it away tomorrow :C
Almost finished, the color still needs a protective layer, so it doesn’t collect dust like a horse collects flies >.<
I’ll post some better photos in the next days when it’s complete ;)
Got tagged on dA to write some facts about Lukida. In case some of you here are interested to read about her too…
This is Lukida. Actually her complete name is Lukida Ribes, but she prefers her first name ;)
- She grew up in a batpony village near Leota forest, separated from Equestrian civilization, until her curiosity made her travel there.
- Because of the isolation from Equestria she doesn’t know much about recent technology.
- She also has problems reading and writing new Equestrian writing.
- Although
her good vision is her special talent, which helps her picking fruits
and berries to supply the village, she also has to do day watch duty
(batponies doing night watch are rather pointless when everypony is
awake anyway, isn’t it?).
- She is rather lazy and even daydreaming when she has to do the day watch -.-
- She knew other pony races, changelings etc only from stories. She loves pegasi and fears gryphons.
- She can hide her fangs if necessary.
There’s actually even more to her, these are just some of the more important / interesting points ;)
